ASTM B111 C68700 / CuZn20Al2 / 2.0460 is a medium-cost, seawater-resistant aluminum brass ideal for U-bundle heat exchangers. Its key strength is resistance to impingement attack and dezincification due to aluminum and arsenic. Use it for clean to moderately polluted seawater or brackish water at velocities up to 3 m/s. Ensure proper post-bend stress relief and NDT (ET) to guarantee U-bend integrity.
